Watercourse Crossings Travel to Sutherland Spaceport

This week our two new watercourse crossing bridges travelled north to their new home at Sutherland Spaceport, between them clocking up over 900 miles and some amazing sights and scenery!

The crossings will form part of the floating road being constructed at the launch site. The road is an important part of the Spaceport as it will provide access to the Launch Service Integration Facility (LSIF) and Launch Pad.

The infrastructure will help to maintain the natural state of the water environment and protect the bed and banks, water levels and ecology of the watercourse.

They will also promote wildlife connectivity, preserve aquatic habitats, control erosion, protect water quality, and support the overall ecosystem health having been designed with ecological considerations in mind.
