Orbex joins the Space for Everyone Tour in Aberdeen

Orbex will be attending the Space for Everyone tour at the Queen’s Links in Aberdeen, on the 5 and 6 August.

This summer, the UK Space Agency's 'Space for Everyone' tour has been travelling across the UK to 10 locations, captivating young minds and showcasing the impact of space on improving life here on Earth, and Orbex will be at its next stop.

With hands-on experiences and activities, the tour has been generating excitement and interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) subjects.

The tour will unveil the diverse and exciting career paths available in the UK’s fast-growing space industry, highlighting how space works for young people and how they can work for space.

The target audience for the tour is 9–13-year-olds, engaging them in relation to future career opportunities before they choose their exam subjects - but of course all ages are very welcome.

You’ll be able to find us in the activity tent from 10am-5pm where you can learn about what we do at Orbex while taking part in some fun activities!

We will also be working alongside Aberdeen Science Centre, who will be demonstrating space-themed exhibits and experiments.

Space For Everyone is free and open to all, no booking required.
