Journey to Launch - Chapter 003 - Protecting the Land

We are delighted to release the third chapter of our short film series following our Journey to Launch.

In this instalment, we focus on the vital efforts dedicated to protecting the land at our home Spaceport, Sutherland Spaceport, and we introduce some of the team members who are leading the efforts during construction.

In the film you also find out more about the work to monitor Scottish peatland restoration using satellite and ground radar data being undertaken by Georgina Page, a PhD researcher at the University of Stirling, and how the launch site has supported this pioneering project to improve our understanding of the role changing water levels play in peatland restoration.

As the world's only spaceport designed to be carbon neutral in both its construction and operation, we're excited to showcase the innovative methods driving our sustainable vision and making it a reality.

This chapter follows on from previous episodes where we shared the story behind the Birth of a Spaceport and introduced you to Orbex Prime's navigation system and the important role the stars play in Finding our Way as part of our Journey to Launch.
