Orbex Welcomes Local Community to their Sutherland Spaceport Open Days

We had an incredible time hosting our 'sold-out' Sutherland Spaceport Public Open Days at the end of last month!

We were delighted to welcome school children from Tongue Primary School, community groups and local residents to take part in the event, which gave them a behind-the scenes opportunity to see the exciting work we're doing.

Visitors got a first-hand update on the progress of Sutherland Spaceport, our carbon neutral launch site, and a chance to visit the site. We also offered engaging STEM activities, designed to inspire the next generation of space enthusiasts and highlight the possible career paths available in Scotland.

We were joined by a number of partners who shared information about their own projects and how these link to the spaceport and the local area.
