Phil Chambers

Phil Chambers is CEO of Orbex, where he leads the company’s strategic direction and oversees the growth of its orbital launch services business. He joined Orbex in January 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from the European tech sector. Phil co-founded Peakon, an employee engagement platform acquired by Workday, and held executive roles at Qype (acquired by Yelp), Podio, and Gumtree. He has successfully scaled businesses and led cross-functional teams across product, operations, and organisational development. At Peakon, he built a data-driven culture centred on employee experience, guiding the company from inception to global impact. Phil holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Manchester University, grounding his leadership in strong technical expertise.
