Ishbel Inkster

Ishbel Inkster joined Orbex in June 2024 as Chief People Officer, a newly established leadership role focused on shaping and executing the company’s HR strategy. She oversees the full employee lifecycle, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads critical functions and areas including talent management, organisational development, and company culture.

With a varied career spanning differing industrial sectors and organisations (including both listed and private equity backed), Ishbel brings a wealth of expertise in human resources, people leadership and domain expertise in the area of reward. Her previous roles include senior HR positions at Hewlett Packard, Acergy, Wood, General Electric, Baker Hughes, and Neptune Energy, with experience of working across Europe, the UK, and in the United States.

Ishbel holds a degree in Business Studies and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), reflecting her commitment to excellence and continuous professional development in the HR field.
